Concept

The idea started in a hotel in Budapest.

It didn't start with a finished product idea, but rather with an observation: many devices work fine, but often feel technical and impersonal. That is exactly where SAFTI came from.

In a hotel in Budapest I noticed that the existing beverage systems there were practical, but mostly not very appealing to look at and not particularly intuitive. That sparked the question of whether there was a better way to do it.

Step by step, the concept for SAFTI emerged from that: a device that looks modern without being over-designed. It should work technically and at the same time feel calm and tidy.

What mattered most to me was that form and function fit together. The technology is not only relevant on the inside — it also influences how the whole project is perceived in the end.
